Authors Comments: This has been a controversial knife. The model 1 in some cases had weaknesses but luckily for me my cop was fine. A very sturdy knife with a D-2 tool steel blade that sharpens up incredibly and retains the edge well. It is one of my EDC knives.

Authors Comments:Fred Perrin is an ex-special forces France knife designer and he has made a scary little knife here. It is full flat ground, so needs special attention when mounting. I use chamois to fill the voids.

Authors Comments:This knife is essentially a pry bar with a sharp edge. It is a beast developed to help downed helicopter pilots to escape from their wreckage. A great knife to carry around in your car for emergencies. LJM
