Authors Comments:Diamond 400-1000. Ceramic 1200-0.6. Naniwa 8k. Bought several of these as close outs/ factory 2nds About 20 years ago. Takes a nice edge easily and keeps it well. Rusts easily.

Authors Comments:Reprofiled with 50/80 stones to 17.5 degree on each side. Knife if built like tank and the angle holds through abuse. Used all the stones from 50/80 to 1200/1600, then taped 2500 grit sandpaper to the ceramics. Stropped after all that, finishing with 3.5um for a mirror finish

Authors Comments:All angles set with Angle Cube, rechecked on each stone. Re-created 18 Degree bevel with Diamond 400 -1000, Ceramic 1200/1600 then 5000/10000 Chosera. With 5/10k Chosera reset angle to 20 , 19 then back to 18deg. to define convex. Continued with Balsa 20, 19 then 18deg. with .5 Microne paste Completed at 18deg finish with Roo with .125 Cubic Boron then blank Roo with a mist of alcohol.
