Authors Comments:
This knife is essentially a pry bar with a sharp edge. It is a beast developed to help downed helicopter pilots to escape from their wreckage. A great knife to carry around in your car for emergencies. LJM

C
survival/bushcraft, a good slicer in the kitchen
Authors Comments:
all the ESEE knives are full flat-ground and the blades vary in thickness from the spine to the edge, so they are good slicers but hard to mount in the vise.

survival/bushcraft/tactical
Authors Comments:
LJM it originally came with a zero degree convex edge which I found was a bit too fine and subject to chipping and rolling; I love the 17 degree angle razor sharp and tough

Gentleman's knife/hunter too, cuts like a laser
Authors Comments:
This is a sturdy knife meant as an EDC for use at the dining room table, kitchen or campsite. One could use it for dressing game but the cleaning would be difficult. L.J.M.
