Authors Comments:
Fred Perrin is an ex-special forces France knife designer and he has made a scary little knife here. It is full flat ground, so needs special attention when mounting. I use chamois to fill the voids.

Authors Comments:
This is a stout knife but doesn't hold an edge like I'd expect from the steel. I initially tried it at 17 degrees but had to go back to 20 to get it to last for an elk or two.

Authors Comments:
I like this steel. It takes a variety of finishes well but for EDC I like a congress 400 or the 1000 diamonds followed by 1 micron boron carbide paste on balsa the best. This seems to be about where hair whittling starts but it still has some bite. Hope you like it as much as I do.

This finish leaves a refined but toothy edge that seems to work better.
