Stationary Sharpener Options for Hunting and Fishing Knives

If you're looking for a stationary sharpening system, and you're going to be using your sharpener to sharpen primarily hunting and fishing knives, these are the best sharpener options for you. Any of the below options will make a great choice. When choosing a sharpener, consider how frequently you plan to sharpen, as you'll want to choose a sharpener that's faster and more convenient to use if you plan to sharpen on a regular basis. These sharpener models are also great choices for kitchen and pocket knives.

Precision Sharpener - WE100

The WE100 sharpener is an excellent choice if you are planning on sharpening your hunting and fishing knives and you have a standard collection of 20 or fewer knives.

The WE100 sharpener is designed to be mounted to a base for stability. There are two base options to choose from: Aluminum and Granite. If you're going to be moving your sharpener in and out of storage, the Aluminum option is likely a better choice for you, as the granite base is very heavy.

If you would like to bundle more sharpening abrasives with the WE100 to produce extremely fine edges, choose the Pro-Pack 1. The Pro-Pack 1 is a bundle that includes the WE100 sharpener, diamond stones in six grits from 100 up to 1000 grit, a set of leather strops to finish your edges, and the Aluminum Base.

To keep your sharpener and all your abrasives packed up neatly and safely, we recommend adding the Hard Carrying Case to your order.

Precision Sharpener - WE120

If you have a larger collection of knives, and there's a fair amount of diversity between the types of knives you plan to sharpen, the WE120 may be better choice for you than the WE100. It has a wider angle range, which makes it more versatile in it's sharpening capabilities.

If you would like to bundle more sharpening abrasives with the WE120 to produce extremely fine edges, choose the Pro-Pack II. The Pro-Pack II is a bundle that includes the WE120 sharpener, diamond stones in six grits from 100 up to 1000 grit, very fine ceramic stones, a set of leather strops to finish your edges, and the Aluminum Base.

To keep your sharpener and all your abrasives packed up neatly and safely, we recommend adding the Hard Carrying Case to your order.

Precision Sharpener - WE130

If you have a larger collection of knives, and some of your collection includes knives that are more diverse in blade styles (fully-flat-ground or distally tapered), the WE130 is a great choice. The WE130's Cam-Lock Vise, which is operated with a lever instead of an Allen key, is more convenient to use and more versatile in it's clamping ability. The WE130 sharpener is the great choice for people who plan to sharpen more frequently. Just like the WE100 and WE120, the The WE130 sharpener is designed to be mounted to a base for stability.

The WE130 has a Pro-Pack option, which is called the Pro-Pack III. The Pro-Pack III comes with many attachments and adapters and an excellent assortment of abrasives. If you're ready to go all-in on your sharpener, the Pro-Pack III is a fantastic choice.

To keep your sharpener and all your abrasives packed up neatly and safely, we recommend adding the Hard Carrying / Rolling Case to your order. This is the only case available that's compatible with the WE130 sharpener.
