We went back to the drawing board to find a solution to easily clamp thick, thin, small, large, fully flat, and distally tapered blades. With two fully independent sides, the Standard Vise allows for a secure grip on all the blades you own. Self-centering design means you'll have perfectly symmetrical bevels for incredible cutting performance. Able to clamp blades up to a 1/4" with interchangeable screws for tiny blades, clamping with a Standard Vise has never been easier.
Secure your sharpener in whatever way works best for you. Keep it portable and use a clamp to secure the sharpener to any flat work surface. Check out the optional Aluminum Base for a sleek, all black look. You can also mount the sharpener directly to a work bench with the 4 predrilled holes or create your own look with a base of your own design! Whatever works for you, works for the Carbon.
Repeatable clamping position is one of the many things that makes Wicked Edge different. The Carbon comes with 3 different sized blade stops to allow your blade to rest securely and prevent it from moving in the vise. The Standard Alignment Guide lets you easily record your knife's position so touch-ups can be done in as little as 30 seconds getting your edge back to sharp and you back to doing what you love.
Okay... but how did we get the price so low?
Glass Filled Nylon Base
We use extremely durable, rigid material that allows for frictionless movement in all the non-load bearing parts. With a similar strength to aluminum, this lightweight, injection molded option doesn't compromise on toughness.
Standard Diamond Stones
Providing the exact same results as our Premium ones, the Standard Diamond Stones meet the needs of many users who don't plan to sharpen multiple knives on a daily or weekly basis. With an average lifespan of 350 sharpening sessions, these Diamond Stones provide a longer lifespan than the average stone on the market.

How does it compare to other sharpeners?

Patented dual-sided sharpening produces incredibly sharp edges without work hardening the blade which causes fragile edges.
