This a great addition to the Wicked Edge sharpening system. Although the 500/Ceramic stone that comes standard does a good job the 800/1000 stone results in a sharper edge in my opinion. WickedEdge has replaced all my other sharpeners. Highly recommend.
The 2200 grit gives me almost, but not quite, the edge I can achieve with my DMT / hard Arkansas routine--which shaves hair and leaves no stubble. That said, the "not quite" is offset by the greater convenience. An A-/B+ edge may not be as good as I can otherwise achieve, but it takes only a fraction of the time.
