I've used Wicked Edge Sharpeners for over a decade. They make a great product and provide outstanding service. If I have any complaint to make it would be about the glue that WE uses to fasten the plates to the plastic housing that attaches to the rods. I use WD 40 on my diamond stones and inevitably the WD 40 will erode the glue that is used, causing the plates to come loose, so I just mix up some JB Weld Epoxy and reattach the plates. I've done this process probably 20 times over the years and never once had a plate come loose after re-gluing using JB Weld.
No doubt there are probably some folks that would say I'm 'doing it wrong' (using WD-40) but it works great for me and it isn't that much of a hassle to re-attach the plates after they fall off, but still, I thought it might be worth mentioning.
