Started with the practice blade X2s, then I sharpen a couple Made In, 4" then a 6" kitchen knives.
After those I sharpen a 6" Calphalon.
Then I sharpen my 4" Japanese Damascus, then a 8" Japanese Kenetsune.
Setting up the angle is the most challenging to me. Example the Kenetune is sharpened at 17 degree, To get the 17, had to put knife holder at 15 degrees.
To me this is a lot better then the wet stone method.

This is my first wicked edge sharpener and I got it to ease into this type of sharpener. It immediately peaked my interest and curiosity to expand with more stones and strops which you have the ability to do. The sharpener works great the adjustment for angle is simple and vice is adequate. Having this one does make me more curious about a more professional model with additional features. Overall great product. I got one without the base and have secured with C-clamp but think the base would make it more versatile. The support from videos on youtube greatly help lower the learning curve for the sharpening system. I did take to customizing the system, adding a case and some coloring to make it easier to see in low light. overall 5 stars
This has brought all of my knives that I have sharpened so far to BETTER than new condition. Very easy to do. Expensive -but, you get what you pay for. I've been looking to get the Pro 4 case, but it was sold out. The next day I was notified by wicked edge that it was back in stock. It was, and I put it in my cart, but before I could pay for it - it disappeared! Then the next day, I started getting emails that I left something in my cart. but of course the cart was still empty after my item disappeared. Hopefully Wicked Edge will get their site fixed....
