The Low Angle & Small Knife Adapter is a vise extension designed to help you achieve lower sharpening angles while also making securing and sharpening small blades easierThis attachment is compatible with all Wicked Edge models.

We highly recommend using a Digital Angle Gauge because the Adapter significantly impacts the calibration of the angle markings. Longer Guide Rods are also helpful since the clamping height is higher.

Does Wicked Edge ever get anything wrong?

This low angle adapter is phenomenal! One of the woes I had with my WE66 is that I had great difficulty sharpening my japanese and small knives. When attempting to sharpen at the correct angles, the stones would hit the vise, so I would have to either attempt to mount the knife higher on the vise than I feel comfortable with or re-profile to a greater angle. This item solves all my problems and it's incredibly easy/intuitive to use. And as always, Wicked Edge's phenomenal customer service is the cherry on top. I recommend you buy the kit instead of this item alone. It contains everything you need to make your sharpenings a work of art!

Great customer Service

The new version of
the low angle, small knife adapter works great! These guys gave me a great deal since I had recently purchased the original model adapter.

Low Angle & Small Knife Adapter

This is just what the doctor ordered. My Gen Pro 3 has suffered from the stones hitting the clamp due to forming small angles and this took care of the problem. As mentioned elsewhere, be sure to get and use a digital angle guide because the angles change considerably when you install the adapter. Great addition, Clay.....thanks. ~Clif
