Watch the videos. Very easy to use with excellent results. My knives are stupid sharp with a factory looking edge.

The WE is not my solid silver bullet, but it's at least got a heavy silver plating.

I have another high end sharpener and I love it for various reasons.

That aside, I love how firing up the WE allows me to make quick work of bringing a dulled blade back to the sharp I want and expect.

I have at least twenty different edges to deal with (wood chisels, lathe knives, carving knives, draw knives, kitchen knives, pocket knives, etc.). Developing muscle memory to sharpen all of them just isn't going to happen. I have other things I want or have to invest my time in.

Having a good quality, properly used knife jig means the difference between insuring a good edge. No more mistakes (tipping the blade a degree or two off the desired angle) working toward a specific edge angle, so much quicker and accurate sharpenings.

Wicked edge is the last knife sharpener I'll ever buy. A neighbor had one of these and I've been looking at them ever since. I got these with my Carbon model and I'm so happy.
