This was an important piece to own for accuracy and efficiency in sharpening. I would include it with the purchase of the main sharpener and save me the trouble of having to double back and get it later. This was a less than ideal experience to find out the WE 64 couldn't achieve this goal of low angle and small knife sharpening.

The new blade stabilizer is terrific. I sharpen all of our kitchen cutlery as well as my filleting knife for fishing and a wide variety of pocket and utility knives. I now use the stabilizer on any knife long enough to flex while clamped in the vice. Sharpening is quicker and way more consistent because the blade is now rigid end to end. Excellent product!
