The Standard 800/1000 Grit Diamond Stones are an excellent all-around finishing stone. They maintain the micro-serrations needed for a working edge but leave a refined enough finish to cleanly slice through delicate materials. These are a necessary step for a polished finish. These Diamond Stones have a break-in period of about 10 sharpening sessions and an average lifespan of 350 sharpenings.

Great Product!

Great product! If I could change one thing about your stones I’d change the type of glue that you use to affix your diamond stones to the plastic ‘holders’. The reason that I say that is because I use WD40 on my diamond stones and inevitably the stones will become unglued and fall off of the holder so I end up using J-B Weld to re-attach them permanently.
