60 Series Precision Knife Sharpeners

I LOVE the product! It is very well machined and very easy to assemble. The online videos are great and were very helpful during setup. I was sad when not all of my order came (missing the aluminum base) and I had to contact them for it to be remedied. They were able to fix it quickly, which I appreciated; however, it is a disappointment when everything that you ordered was not included and even signed off as shipped. I later discovered that it didn't include the advertised practice knife; however I didn't bother contacting for that, because I had plenty of practice knives. I get that mistakes are made, but still disappointing. Brilliant product though and I am so glad that I now have it to maintain my collection!

I'm new to knife sharpening but have plenty of kitchen, EDC, and bushcrafting knives.

I watched all the instructional videos then got after the practice knife.

Very simple to use and learn.

I've had it less than a day and I've spent most of sharpening my cheaper knives for practice and sharpening all of my kitchen knives.

I'm very happy with the edge and am sure I'll get plenty of use out of it.

It is seemingly built very well and the technique is intuitive and effective.

If you are looking for a sharpener that can get you the sharpest knife without the bells and whistles (also the price tag to go with it), the WE60 is your choice! It really didn't take much to learn the ropes and get it going. The only downside is that I am addicted and want more! You don't get the Rolls Royce of knife sharpeners and settle for the base model. You want it all! I experienced first hand why Wicked Edge is regarded as the best by all professionals and there's no competition! It is clear to me that this company not only creates the best products, but also has the best customer service and staff. I had a million questions and I have not met someone as helpful and honest as Ryan, who provided incredible guidance and made it easy for a dummy like me to get the sharpener that suited me best. There's a lot of info and a lot to learn. It's easy to get overwhelmed, but do not hesitate to reach out to them. It's like getting an honest review and guidance from a long time product user. Recommend the 800/1000 stone to go with this!

Very nice product. Study, very well built. I use this to sharpen all my knives. Excellent customer service. Well definitely keep purchasing extras and addons for the WE66.

I have enjoyed learning the WE-60 over the past week and I overall love the unit. In addition to the base unit I purchased the 800/1k, 2.2k/3k, leather strops, and Diamond Emulsions in 4um and 1um. I am getting great mirror edges and spending less time per knife then I previously did with my system. The edges are hair popping sharp and excel at all types of push cutting. I like the inclusion of the practice knife and the table clamp. These items were great to get me started right away. The other benefits of this new system is Elizabeth and the team at WE have made good training materials to help you get started. I found this very helpful.

My reason for only giving 4 stars was that my unit was poorly packed with stuff floating all around the internal package. I was also challenged to get lower bolt clearance for my stones while sharpening my benchmade bugout and Lionsteel m1 knife. The stone would clip the screw head just barely during the lower movement positions. The unit includes extra screws, but I was not able to find a combination that worked for my knife and provided the necessary clearance. I was forced to trim a few mm of one of screws with my belt sander to get the needed clearance. I wish the unit also had a way to microadjust the sharpening angle.

I am overall very pleased, and I would suggest this unit for people who want to get started in the WE world. Be prepared to also buy more stones and then enjoy some mirrored up glory.
